Waterparks amazes me all the time and brings me exhausted at the end of the day each time. But it is always fun to visit every now and then. It is a good weekend break from a long stressful week.
Yas Waterworld is located in Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. Just a 30min drive from Abu Dhabi city proper. I recommend that you visit during the mid-season of winter in UAE, not so hot and not so cold. We went there during November, the weather is just enough for swimming.
There is also enough space for parking outside the park. Since we went early morning, we got a good spot for a parking space. We got our tickets at a lowest price since they had a promotion on that time for Emirates crew. It was a buy 1 take 1, yey! The queue was not so busy as well so we got in easily. Food is not allowed inside the park, even sandwiches or juices are not allowed, but snacks and drinks are available inside of course in a fairly price, so no worries about that. Lockers and towels are to be rented so better to prepare cash.
We first roamed around the park to check on the rides and for photo op. Then we chose not to take any rides hahahaha instead just enjoyed the wave pool and lounge under the sun. Because of the long ques and steep stairs which is I bet exhausting so we better enjoy the water.
Tickets cost 240AED (regular), 440AED (premium), 195AED for children under 1.1m tall. Kids under the age of three can go for free.
